Elisenda Lurbes Soriano
Agronomist + Landscape architect

Born in Barcelona, she graduated in Agricultural Engineering (2005) from ESABarcelona, and completed her Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture (2013) at the ETSABarcelona, UPC.

She has worked for ten years in different areas of landscape architecture projects such as technical design, execution processes and management.

She was part of a well-known landscape office team for six years, participating in all stages of the projects; currently she is the team leader of the environmental services department of a multi-national company, coordinating the direction and execution of parks and green infrastructure projects.

Elisenda combines her own practice with acting as an advisor in architectural offices, specifically on landscape design, vegetation and irrigation issues.

Ana Quintana Zazurca
Architect + Landscape architect

Born in Zaragoza, Spain. She graduated from the  Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) in 2008, and completed her last year of studies at the Technical University of Berlin. Received her Master’s Degree from the Master’s Program in Landscape Architecture at ETSABarcelona, 2013.

Her six years of professional experience include key collaboration with prestigious architecture studios in Barcelona with a focus on urban planning and landscape, as well as developing large scale projects at all project phases.

She currently combines working on her own practice and working with other professionals focusing on landscape recovery and open space’s redevelopment.

She received the Award of Distinction from the ETSAB Excellence Jury, and the Award of the Association of Young Architects of Catalonia, both for her Final Degree Project.

Sergi Romero Moreno
Architect + Landscape architect

Born in Barcelona, he graduated in Architecture (2007) and took his Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture (2013) at the Barcelona School of Architecture ETSAB UPC, where he has worked as an assistant teacher in the MLA and EMiLA programmes since 2012.

He  worked in well-known architectural offices in Rotterdam and Barcelona for five years, mainly developing international competitions, public buildings and collective/private housing projects in all their phases.

Sergi has participated in several workshops held in Manchester, Beijing, Baix Empordà and Haute Normandy concerning topics such as new city developments, territorial infrastructure and landscape recovery dynamics.

Currently he combines working in his own practice and collaborating with a variety of  well-known landscape architecture studios in Barcelona.

Giorgia Sgarbossa
Architect + Landscape architect

Born in Italy, based in Barcelona. She obtained her degree in Architecture at IUAV in Venice (2007) and her Master’s in Landscape Architecture (2013) at the ETSABarcelona.

Since 2005 she has worked in different architectural practices in Canberra, Venice and Barcelona, mainly on regional scale projects and landscape intervention projects on different scales and stages: she has participated in international competitions and executive projects.

She has been part of the EMiLA programme as an assistant teacher and has been supporting the teaching staff of the MLA programme of ETSABarcelona.

Giorgia collaborates with the organizing team of the European Biennial of Landscape Architecture in Barcelona. She currently combines her work with joint research activities.
